This grey & white female dog was found around the 200 block of West 2nd today. She was turned over to the Halstead Police Department and was then taken and released to Caring Hands Humane Society. Contact the Halstead Police Department for instructions on how to be reunited with your pet.

Merili Bookgirl Kann with Southwestern Advantage Books will be around Halstead for the next week. She has completed all the necessary steps and is licensed with the city to sell door to door.
City Offices will be closed for lunch today from 12-1pm.
City Council agenda for the meeting on June 24th at 7:00 p.m.
Halstead's Chamber of Commerce will be having their networking lunch June 20th.
In Observance of Juneteenth Halstead City offices will be closed. We will reopen Thursday the 20th with normal hours.
