This week, Main Street sidewalks between 1st and 2nd Street are under construction. Starting Monday, October 6th, construction will move to Main Street sidewalks between 2nd and 3rd Street.

This small male dog was found around 2nd & College Street today. The dog was taken and released to Caring Hands Humane Society. Contact the Halstead Police Department for instructions on how to be reunited with your pet. 316-835-2286 Option 2.

BNSF will be completing a crossing rehabilitation project on the Main Street crossing this Thursday and Friday (Sept. 11–12).
A traffic control plan is being developed, and truck traffic will be routed to Halstead Rd off Hwy 50 during the project.
