🚸 Keeping Halstead’s Students Safe!
Halstead now has a Rapid Flashing Beacon (RFB) at 7th & Chestnut in our newly established school zone.
When activated, the amber lights flash to alert drivers that a pedestrian is crossing or waiting to cross. Drivers must stop and yield to pedestrians in the crosswalk.
This safety improvement was made possible through a Safe Routes to School Grant from KDOT.
🚦 Slow down. Be alert. Our kids are worth it!
Thank you for doing your part to keep Halstead’s students safe! 💙💛
